Ore Factory Squad Ore Node Yield & Full Backpack Guide

Quick answer
For the best confirmed ore-node yield path, mine the node until it falls normally. A developer says that digging around it until it drops, or using Dynamite, gives less ore than the normal approach. Make room in your backpack before the node drops: a full backpack can mean that you do not receive all of its resources.
The developer does not publish a loss percentage, a fixed node yield, or a backpack-size formula. Treat this as a harvest order, not a precise yield calculator.
Harvest the node before clearing the room
When an ore node is the target, work the node itself and let it fall through the normal mining approach. Do not treat surrounding rock removal or Dynamite as the standard way to collect it.

Use a shortcut only when access or time matters more than the amount you collect. No exact loss percentage is published.
Make backpack room before the drop
- Check the free space shown by your current backpack before committing to the node.
- Reduce what you are carrying or finish the planned handoff first if the backpack is already full.
- Mine the target node through the normal approach.
- After it falls, compare what you received with the free space you had before the pickup.
- Stop and make room before testing another node if the backpack was full or the result is unclear.
This order keeps an inventory limit from looking like a node-yield problem. After collection, check the visible inventory and nearby destination before assuming items vanished.
If the result looks lower than expected
Record three things: how you made the node fall, how much backpack space was available, and what you actually received. Do not change all three conditions at once. A single normal harvest with room in the backpack is a better comparison than repeatedly using Dynamite or clearing around several nodes.
