Ore Factory Squad Level 6-12 Progression Guide
Choose the next useful path after Level 5 from the oil, employee, warehouse, or factory blocker visible in your current save.
Quick answer
This is a Level 5-to-12 new-systems map, not another upgrade ranking. In v1.1.0 the level cap increased to 12, and the expanded range can unlock additional machines and licenses. Use this page to identify which newly released system answers your next task; use the separate upgrade guide when you need to compare costs or purchase order. The official notes do not publish a complete level-by-level unlock table.
Use this starting rule:
- choose the Petrochemical License and oil path when you are ready to build a working crude-oil loop;
- choose Off-Site Mining Training when Miner work is the repeated bottleneck;
- choose the factory-size expansion when a working factory is genuinely blocked by space or storage-output access; or
- choose a warehouse improvement when fragmented pallets or material movement is stopping production.
If your Level 1–5 loop is not stable yet, fix it with the beginner factory guide before adding a new system. If you already know the system and only need to rank purchases, go directly to the upgrade and license guide.
Pick the next path from a visible blocker
| What you can see in the current save | Useful next path | First page to open |
|---|---|---|
| You want to enter oil production, but the processing chain is still unavailable | Petrochemical License and the smallest oil workflow | Petrochemical License guide |
| Miner work is limiting off-site resource flow | Off-Site Mining Training | Off-Site Mining Training guide |
| A proven line has no practical floor space or storage-output access left | Factory-size expansion | Factory size and four outputs |
| Same-item pallets remain split across one Drop Zone | Merge Robot | Merge Robot guide |
| The next purchase is unclear, but no single system is visibly blocked | Keep the current loop and compare the next unlock by bottleneck | Upgrade and license guide |
This is a decision map, not an official unlock order. The update confirms the new progression range and systems, but it does not say that every save receives or should buy them in the same sequence.
Build one complete loop before opening another path
- Pick one product or contract you can already complete.
- Confirm its source, processing, storage, and delivery handoffs work.
- Read the current machine, license, and upgrade options in your own save.
- Choose the option that removes the first visible blocker.
- Test the smallest affected handoff before expanding the rest of the factory.
- Return to the decision table only after the new path produces a useful result.
This prevents a new license, training branch, or building expansion from hiding an older belt, storage, or logistics problem. For a general flow check, use the conveyor bottleneck guide.
What v1.1.0 confirms
The Masters of Oil update confirms that the cap is now Level 12 and that new machines and licenses can be unlocked through the expanded level range. It also adds the Petrochemical License, Off-Site Mining Training, another factory-size upgrade, the Merge Robot, and pallet transport for building boxes.
The announcement does not publish:
- a complete unlock assigned to every level;
- purchase prices or prerequisites;
- one optimal order for solo and co-op saves;
- guaranteed progress speed; or
- a universal point at which an existing factory should be rebuilt.
When a menu in your current save disagrees with an older video or guide, use the current in-game requirement and treat the older sequence as historical.
Choose a focused next guide
For the complete oil chain, start with the Masters of Oil guide. If the issue is warehouse movement rather than progression, use the Warehouse Robot and Pallet Dispenser guide. If the problem is simply that the current plant has become hard to inspect, use the modular factory layout guide before buying around the problem.
Sources
The official v1.1.0 Masters of Oil announcement is the source for the Level 12 cap, expanded unlock range, new progression systems, and warehouse additions. A Steam player review asking for progression beyond the previous cap was used only as evidence of the player task; it does not establish an unlock order or current game rule.
